Life Campaigns is not a charity!

“Life Campaigns” is the building of the ‘LIFE CAMPAIGNS SERVICE FUND.’

"A charitable heart teaches self-sufficiency and self-worth but

charity simply creates dependency”

We seek charitable hearts to help us build this service fund.

Since inception, Life Campaigns focused as an independent non-profit service organization on:

§  Development of Organic, Hydroponic Farms through Africa (Life Campaigns farms)  

§  Job creation through organic hydroponic farming (see Life Campaigns)

§  Homeless squatters of minorities

§  Feeding and education of squatter children 

§  Housing of squatters on organic farming sites

§  Children's Christian ministry  

§  Job creation programs: Community Bakeries, Organi-farms, recycling, “Life” Events and fund raisers.

 The goal of the “Life Campaigns” project is to establish a fund large enough, as to effectively change the circumstances by not merely doling out charitable donations to those who are in need but to create sustainable sources of income whilst training and educating these “forgotten” segments of society.

The destitute white person is a by-product of the huge political change in South Africa and is no different to similar problems around the world and in other minority groups in Africa.

South Africa has struggled with the “poor white” problem since 1937. The focus has been on larger portions of the society and it leaves some pockets of society vulnerable as the current situation proves.
The current white population is less than 4 000 000 of which an estimated 950 000 people are either living as squatters or in dire circumstances. Fortunately our inherited “blind eye" has actually become a source of new possibilities and hope for the future in not only this white group but in most rejected minorities.

The person ending up in these circumstances are those who generally had been in the previous dispensation “blue collar” workers (lower income), thus where reliant on the Government to provide for any shortfall in their needs which does not exist any longer due to the political climate change and re-appropreation of benefits.

 
South Africans are in no way special to this kind of change as it actually is a world-wide phenomenon. Systems and politics change and this leaves a previously assisted group without benefits or with very little access to it.

The success of Life Campaigns - as with any other - rests on the involvement of all who believe in action and involved change.

Life Campaigns advocates to create jobs for those in need. The Life Farms System not only creates a future for all children, but rids us of continueous, inneffctive charity. These children would have escaped our attention because their families - in all probability - have been in the “system” for 3 to 4 generations. Now that the numbers of white South Africans and minorities dwindle, we realize we need every single one to perform and work to the best of their ability and be educated as an assest of this minority.

A minority group simply can not have the luxury of “having” a “poor” or “uneducated” segment any longer.
